2010 Louis Latour Corton-Charlemagne

2010 Louis Latour Corton-Charlemagne – France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru (8/23/2015)

We sipped during our Curb Your Enthusiasm Marathon and Tapas Weekend, Day 3. It was a bit unfair to sip after the 2005 Batar, but we gave it some time to open up and it did not disappoint. A more transparent yellow. Aromas of toasted almonds and vanilla. Excellent oak, vanilla and caramel on the palate. Nicely dry. Long, mineral finish. Definitely a wine to lay down. (93 points)
